On football Saturdays, the grounds of the Ann
Arbor Golf and Outing Club are open to the public for parking. Upwards of
2000 cars and passenger vans park on the course each game. Motor homes,
buses, trucks and other large vehicles cannot be accommodated and are not allowed.
The location is directly across Stadium Boulevard from the south end of the
stadium. Lush fairways and tall trees provide a pleasant environment for
tailgating. Dozens of port-a-potties are located across the site. The gates
open at 8:00am and close two hours after the end of the game. Patrons may
enter off Stadium Boulevard directly across from Crisler Arena or off South
Main Street across from Pioneer High School near Scio Church Road.
For the 2009 season, admission will be $40 per vehicle (unchanged for the
past five years). Admission is payable in cash as you enter.Major changes
for 2009:
• Canopies are allowed at no extra charge but must be no larger than 10' by
12' and must be placed behind your vehicle. Charges for
canopies may be levied in 2010.
• For safety and efficiency, vehicles will be directed to specific spaces as
they enter the grounds.
Group parking at a favorite spot will no longer be allowed.
