MiPHS is a co-sponsor of the 51st annual conference, "Michigan in Perspective: the Local History" will be held at the McGregor Conference Center on the Wayne State University campus. The Arab American National Museum in Dearborn will be hosting a fascinating photography exhibit entitled "The Yemeni Community: Photographs by Milton Rogovin." In the 1970's Jewish photographer Milton Rogovin documented the Yemeni community in Lackwanna, New York. Go to www.arabamericanmuseum.org or www.miltonrogovin.com for more information.
